Special interest tours
In addition to the general tours, I can provide some special services based on your particular interest. You can find several of these tours in the list below. If you are interested in any of them, please contact me in advance to discuss all the details.
Russian museum. 2-3 hour tour. Collection of Russian paintings, which includes all the periods from ancient icons up to the middle of the 20th century. The most famous names are Repin, Kandinsky, Malevich and others. You can find more information on the official site of the museum.
Novgorod. One day tour to a Russian city located 170 km to the south of St. Petersburg. Ancient cultural center of Russia with the oldest cathedral from the 11th centuary.
Dostoevsky’s St. Petersburg. Walking tour through the section of the city where characters from “Crime and Punishment” used to live, short trip by metro up to the Dostoyevskay metro station, visit to Dostoyevsky memorial apartment.
Churches and Cathedrals. Religious St. Petersburg. Visits to several of the most interesting churches and cathedrals of different confessions, visit to Alexader Nevsky Lavra (monastery).
Citizens view. Visit to one of the most popular Russian Orthodox Churches, short tour of metro, most picturesque food market, short walk through an apartment area in the center, souvenir gallery.
White nights. (City by nights). White Nights last from June 11 to July 2. During this period we don't have a real night. It's twilight instead of complete darkness . White nights is the most beautiful, most romantic and most popular time in St. Petersburg. The tour will start around 11pm and will last for approximately 3 hours, during which you will see the most famous places in the city in a very unusual light and then as a highlight of the tour – the opening of the city drawbridges.
